WHO WE ARE

Concerned Citizens of South Central Los Angeles(CCSCLA) is a non-profit, community benefit corporation working for social, economic, and environmental justice. We have developed hundreds of affordable housing units, a shopping center, and youth soccer facilities. We develop and promote public policy, projects, and programs in our community's image and interest.

CCSCLA stakeholders reconstituted the vacant director's board in January 2023. We are struggling to rest control of the organization and its operations from Noreen McClendon and violent criminals who represent our community's adversaries. McClendon and her associates are looting CCSCLA affordable housing accounts while the units are deteriorating to dirty, dangerous, slum conditions. She threatens tenants who complain, with eviction, even though they have paid their rent. Noreen McClendon and Curren Price orchestrated CCSCLA President and Executive Director Mark WIlliams's Kidnapping and unlawful detention to hinder our transition to legitimate leadership, and cover-up  McClendon and Price's other crimes. We have reported their federal crimes to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the United States Department of Justice (DOJ). Public awareness is essential to our best efforts. So tell a friend. The Los Angeles Times and the Los Angeles Sentinel Newspaper have not reported the story.
